“He doesn’t complain when he gets hit. He goes out there and plays his ass off every Sunday, he practices every single day, so no, we don’t question his toughness.”

Injury Report: Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher is done for the season with a dislocated wrist. The incident is believed to have happened sometime in the 1st quarter after a rogue Green Bay Packer fell on Urlacher’s hand in the 1st week of the season. However, Urlacher continued to play for the rest of the first half not knowing the severity of his injury. Linebacker Lance Briggs will take over Defensive Captain duties in Urlacher’s absence and Hunter Hillenmeyer will fill in at middle linebacker.
If you think the Bears aren’t bummed out about this, check back to the 2004 season, when Urlacher missed 7 weeks due to his calf/hamstring, and thus the team went 0-7, with Hillenmeyer filling in for him then as well. This probably hinders Urlacher’s boob grabbing career as well. Sad times.
