“I shouldn’t have even suited up. I should have watched the game like everybody else. I was irrelevant.”

The 63rd Overall Pick in the draft went to the Indianapolis Colts who took LB Pat Angerer. As we said before, they were Defensive minded coming into the draft. However with only a few late picks this year, we’re not sure how much of a difference these pick-ups will make.
The Indianapolis Colts have taken DE Jerry Hughes 31st Overall. Sorely needed on defense, Hughes will be a youthful breath of fresh air for the aging DE Dwight Freeney. Pretty sure the Offense is solid with QB Peyton Manning in charge. Nothing really left for the Colts to spruce up, but their defense. They can work on offense next draft.
And then there were two. Who ya got!?

Donovan McNabb – Pop Quiz:Quarterback A - 1,421 yards / 9 touchdowns / 7 turnovers over the last five weeks.
Quarterback 2 - 1,535 yards / 9 touchdowns / 7 interceptions over the last five weeks.
You’re swift, so you know one of them is McNabb (QB A). QB 2 is Peyton Manning. Now, I’m not calling Donovan Peyton and Peyton Donovan, but the numbers don’t lie. And the fact that McNabb’s being started in just 44 percent of leagues (and Peyton 97 percent) makes Donovan an interesting play.

“We need a touchdown here, but let’s not be in a hurry to score.”— Peyton Manning, on what he said in the huddle to his teammates with a little under two minutes left in Sunday night’s game and the Indianapolis Colts starting a drive at the New England Patriots 29.
Gerry Callahan of the Boston Herald has written a excellent piece concerning Tom Brady vs Peyton Manning as we enter the annual battle between the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts this week. It doesn’t lean to one qb over the other, rather it sets up the body of work both men have created thus far, and the legacy each one carries on their shoulders. If this article doesn’t get you excited for their sunday night match-up, you are clearly a Cleveland Browns fan.
Manning is 33, Brady 32. Manning is halfway through his 12th season, Brady is in his 10th. Neither shows signs of slowing down. There are no puzzling Delhomme-like dips in their bodies of work, no Romo-like questions about their priorities, no Roethlisberger-like off-field issues.
They are in the spotlight as much as any modern-day athletes and yet never seem to say or do the wrong thing.

Bet you didn’t know (as of Week 6) Houston Texans QB Matt Schaub is the NFL Touchdown Leader with 14 scores. New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees is 2nd with 13. Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning, New England Patriots QB Tom Brady, & Minnesota Vikings QB Brett Favre are tied for 3rd with 12.
Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning informs the Tennessee Titans defense who he’s going to pass to for a touchdown. Like Axl Rose once said, “It’s So Easy…”
Check out the look on, Arizona Cardinals QB, Kurt Warner’s face. In no way does it make his post-game shake with, Indianapolis Colts QB, Peyton Manning awkward. In no way does Manning look like he feels the need to apologize for winning. In no way are the cameramen so uncomfortable, that they forget to do their jobs & opt instead to stare blatantly.
Indianapolis Colts have signed wide receiver Hank Baskett, formerly of the Philadelphia Eagles. The move comes after the injury to Colts receiver Anthony Gonzalez due to sprained knee ligaments. Baskett was recently released from the Eagles after the addition of two receivers drafted this year and the signing of Michael Vick. Gonzalez injury comes just in time for Baskett, who although doesn’t miss a week in the league, must now learn as much of the Colts offense in a few days prior to the sunday game versus the Miami Dolphins.
You may be wondering why we have a photo of a half-nekkid Kendra Wilkinson in a San Diego Super Chargers jersey. It’s because she’s married to Hank Baskett. Baskett gets the same treatment as Jeff Garcia.
Injury Report: Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez will be out up to 8 weeks after spraining ligaments in his right knee in the 1st game of the season against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Gonzalez was the heir apparent to Colts great Marvin Harrison who was released from the team in February after a gun related incident in Philadelphia left a man dead. Harrison, though the Colts career receiving leader, remains a free agent.
