Just when you thought it was safe & the curse had been lifted. New Orleans Saints QB, and Madden 11 coverboy, Drew Brees reveals he was injured for 6 weeks during this season:
“Yeah, I had an MCL sprain this year and was able to rehab it and play with a brace and it limited my mobility for a period of time. But I was fortunate enough to be able to get through it. ”
Dare we guess which victim player Madden claims next?!
If anyone was going to beat the Atlanta Falcons and tarnish QB Matt “Matty Ice” Ryan’s near perfect home record, would you be surprised that it was Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football?
It’s not the biggest fist pump by Brees, but a victory gesture nevertheless.

Black, Gold, & Brees-y
With the final pick of the 2nd Round, the New Orleans Saints have taken OT Charles Brown. Actually a decent pick-up coming so late, as Brown could’ve been considered a top 2nd Round pick. Brown will be an excellent back-up if not, a fresh starter in the next few seasons to come.
And to end the 1st Round of the 2010 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints have chosen CB Patrick Robinson 32nd Overall. As if the Saints absolutely needed any more weapons on Offense. Same as the Colts. Defense all day draft long.
Drew Brees will be the cover boy for the 2011 Edition of the wildly popular Madden Football videogame series. The entire New Orleans Saints staff & fanbase are collectively holding their breath (concerning his health) now.
Congratulations to Drew Brees, Sean Payton, The Saints, & the city of New Orleans on their 2010 NFL Super Bowl 44 Championship victory.
And then there were two. Who ya got!?

Minnesota radio call of the Brett Favre interception at the end of regulation in the NFC Championship Game. The play-by-play guy seems like a long-suffering Vikings fan, deflated immediately by the INT, as if he were secretly dreading/expecting a last-second turnover the whole time. By contrast, the color guy is furious; at Favre, at Brad Childress, at the laws of physics that prevent 35-year-old Ryan Longwell from booting it 60 yards.
“You can take a knee! And try a 56-yard field goal! This is not Detroit! This is the Super Bowl!”

Visual representation of what the Dallas Cowboys & LB DeMarcus Ware did to the New Orleans Saints, QB Drew Brees, & their perfect record. 13-1 bitches!
New Orleans found out, the hard way, that God doesn’t shine down on Louisiana & its Saints on Saturday nights.
2 interceptions + 1 sack + 0 tds thrown + 21 pt deficit in the 4th qtr = BENCHED!
Not even Tom Brady is safe from Drew Brees and the undefeated New Orleans Saints.
Stupid predictionA Saints RB will score two touchdowns Monday vs. the Pats and it won’t be the one you have. You might have Thomas, or Bush, or Bell, or Bush and Bell, or Thomas and Bush, or even all three. But you won’t get the points. It just won’t happen. Worst. Three-headed. Monster. Ever.
