Depending on who you’re rooting for, Hines Ward’s smile is either the best thing ever or the worst.
After last weeks playoff loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, we’re fairly sure the city of Baltimore and it’s Ravens could do without ever seeing it again.

The Pittsburgh Steelers went Defense and picked up DE Jason Worilds as the 52nd Pick Overall. The Steelers snagged their one Offensive lineman earlier, so expect them to continue to beef up their Defense as the off-season continues.

Speaking of Nike, the NFL, & David Fincher, here’s last year’s “Leave Nothing” advertisement. This time it stars San Diego Super Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson and Pittsburgh Steelers strong safety Troy Polamalu as their “destinies collide in an NFL football game.” As for that hot soundtrack: it’s a remix of Ennio Morricone’s “L’Estasi Dell ‘Oro” (Ecstasy of Gold) from Sergio Leone’s spaghetti western classic, The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly.

Here’s Tennessee Titans’ quarterback Kerry Collins, following their defeat at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The game may have been close, but after dealing with the Steelers defense, Collins reverted to childlike behavior by looking like a scared youngster who just lost his mother and has to “peepee” really bad. That, or it looks like someone needs a drink on the fly.

Take this in folks, as we have a sighting almost as rare as a UFO. Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver & enfant terrible Hines Ward getting the ball jacked from him by the Tennessee Titans defense. Ward is known for serving cold dishes of Whoop Ass to opponents, highlighted with the most shit eating Colgate smile you’ve ever seen. Odd that, after this mistake, he failed to produce his pearly whites for the remainder of the game. Even though the Steelers won, no one dared approach Ward. We bet he’ll be pissed about this for the remainder of the season, even if they emerge from the Super Bowl victorious.

In regards to Troy Polamalu’s injury in yesterday’s Pittsburgh Steelers victory over the Tennessee Titans. Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals, & fantasy team managers especially, take note:
Now, superstitions are everywhere, especially in sports. Troy Polamalu, along with Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, were recently put on the cover of Madden NFL ‘10. It’s a great honor, obviously, but is it also a curse?
