QB Donovan McNabb is the Washington Redskin’s $78 Million Dollar Man. Did they spend their money wisely?

DeAngelo Hall caught four passes from Jay Cutler for 92 yards and a touchdown, which would have made him the Bears’ leading receiver if he weren’t a defensive back for the Redskins.

Why is this man smiling? Because fool finally passed his Conditioning Test on the 4th try! Congrats to you Albert Haynesworth and the Washington Redskins. May we please get on with our lives now?
Haynesworth, Haslett, Wright and three other members of Wright’s staff walked down the hill to the practice fields at 7:06 a.m. As workers milled about preparing the VIP tent for Fan Appreciation Day at the complex, Haynesworth stretched for about 10 minutes. A worker shouted out, “You got this.”
Unofficially, Haynesworth completed the first run in 66 seconds, and following a break, he finished the second portion of the test in 70 seconds, according to two team sources who requested anonymity because they were not authorized to provide the results. Shanahan is expected to address the situation at some point Saturday. And Haynesworth and Haslett might also be made available to the media for the first time since camp opened on July 29.

Donovan McNabb. Quarterback. Washington Redskins.
“Welcome to the Oklahoma Draft” - Berman
With the 4th Overall pick, the Washington Redskins acquire OT Trent Williams from Oklahoma (3rd of 4 picks so far). With the elderly QB Donovan McNaab tossing for the Redskins, Williams was practically a necessity. I’m sure RB Clinton Portis is gonna buy this dude a beer…or at least a Protein Shake.
From Washington’s perspective,Mike Shanahan looked at Donovan McNabb and saw John Elway. In 1995, Shanahan took the Denver coaching job and inherited a quarterback who couldn’t win the big one, who’d gotten stale, who’d lost the faith of the locals in Denver to deliver a Super Bowl. Elway, then 35, went on to play four years for Shanahan and win two Super Bowls. In 2010, Shanahan takes the Washington coaching job and deals for a quarterback who couldn’t win the big one, who’d gotten stale, who’d lost the faith of the locals in Philadelphia to deliver a Super Bowl. McNabb is 33. He wants to play at least four more years.
Breaking: The Philadelphia Eagles have traded QB Donovan McNabb (within their division) to the Washington Redskins for a 2nd round & 3rd or 4th round 2011 draft pick. Thus begins the Kevin Kolb era in Philly. Thus the Jason Campbell era in Washington gets put on hiatus.
Hey look! It’s the Washington Redskins new logo. How fitting. How very fitting.
